In compliance with a Southeastern Conference rule, Thompson-Boling Arena is now fitted with metal detectors at all entrances. The school announced the news on Thursday.

If you were unaware, the SEC has ordered every football and basketball stadium to install metal detectors by the start of the 2020 season. Mississippi State has already installed metal detectors at its football stadium for the upcoming season.
