Tennessee and Florida are on for Tuesday, but the SEC rivals will tipoff a bit earlier than planned.

UT announced that Tuesday’s conference clash now has a 5 p.m. ET tipoff. The game was set for 7 p.m. ET, but moved up due to weather in Knoxville impacting travel.

At this time, TV for the game has not been determined. It had been set to air on ESPN.

Rick Barnes’ squad is once again one of the top teams in the country and looking to make an NCAA Tournament run after last year’s trip to the Sweet Sixteen. The Vols are 12-4 on the year, sitting at No. 6 in the newest AP poll.

While Tennessee is the top SEC team in the latest AP Top 25, the Volunteers do not sit atop the conference standings. Auburn and Alabama are the only teams to open 3-0 in SEC play, while the Volunteers are 2-1.

UT won its first SEC game 90-64 over then-No. 22 Ole Miss to improve to 11-3 on the season. The Vols suffered a midweek loss 77-72 Wednesday at Mississippi State, but bounced back with an 85-79 win at Georgia on Saturday to improve to 12-4 overall.

Florida, meanwhile, got off to a rough start this month. After an undefeated December, the Gators were unable to close out an upset of then-No. 6 Kentucky, falling 87-85 at home in the SEC opener.

UF was blown out in its first road SEC game, falling at Ole Miss 103-85 in midweek action. Florida picked up its first conference win of the season with a 90-68 thumping of Arkansas in Gainesville to improve to 11-5 overall and 1-2 in SEC action. Todd Golden’ squad is 0-2 in road games so far this season.
