Tennessee basketball continues to add to its impressive class of transfers.

On Friday evening, the Vols added a commitment from ex-Northern Colorado wing Dalton Knecht.

Here’s his announcement:

Knecht is listed at 6-foot-6 and has the versatility to defend multiple positions at the SEC level. He’s also a potential high volume scorer.

Last season for Northern Colorado, Knecht averaged a career-high 20.2 points per game. He was efficient from the floor, shooting 47.9 percent from the field and 38% from 3-point range.

Knecht also contributes in other areas. He grabbed 7.2 rebounds per contest last season and averaged nearly 1 steal per game.

He is the 3rd transfer to commit to Tennessee so far this offseason, joining Chris Ledlum and Jordan Gainey. Tennessee is looking to bolster a roster that finished last season with a 25-11 record and a Sweet 16 appearance.

Knecht, a former JUCO product, spent 2 years at Northern Colorado. He has 1 season of eligibility remaining.
