Tennessee beats out Oklahoma, other top programs for 4-star pass rusher
Tennessee’s 2024 recruiting class just got a major boost.
The Vols earned a commitment from 4-star EDGE Kellen Lindstrom on Friday evening. He chose Tennessee over offers from programs like Oklahoma, Alabama and LSU, amongst others.

Lindstrom visited both Tennessee and Oklahoma during the month of April, but ended up choosing the Vols. He’s now the highest-ranked defensive lineman in Tennessee’s 2024 recruiting class.
He currently ranks as the No. 228 overall player and the No. 27 EDGE in the country for the 2024 cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 7 player from the state of Missouri.
Lindstrom attends Glendale High School in Springfield, Missouri. He’s listed at 6-foot-5, 235 pounds.
Tennessee is off to a great start in the class of 2024. The Vols already have 11 commitments, including 3 on the defensive line. Tennessee’s class sits at No. 10 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
