Tennessee’s depth at defensive back took a hit Friday.

Cornerback Marquill Osborne announced in a tweet that he will seek a transfer from the Volunteers’ program. Below is the graphic Osborne tweeted to make known his intentions and to thank Tennessee for the opportunity to play there over the past three years.

After arriving in Knoxville in 2016 as a 4-star recruit out of Cornelius, North Carolina, Osborne served as a backup cornerback and special teams player in 30 games for Tennessee He made his mark on a few games this season, blocking a punt and returning it for a touchdown against East Tennessee State before picking off two passes in the Volunteers’ upset of Kentucky.

Now Osborne will try his luck at another school.
