Tennessee defensive back Wesley Walker recently shared his thoughts on his transition from Georgia Tech to the Rocky Top, and it’s safe to say he is happy with the decision he made.

Some of that comes down to the environment, which Walker seems to believe is better at Tennessee.

“No disrespect to Georgia Tech, but everything here is just much more professional,” he told reporters.

Walker clearly wasn’t trying to completely knock Georgia Tech here, but it’s true that things are just different in the SEC — including the facilities, level of competition and overall standard.

Walker originally enrolled at Tennessee in June of 2022 after spending three seasons with the Yellow Jackets. So far this season, Walker totals 7 tackles (4 solo) and one sack.
