Tennessee has had quite the rough go at it in the first round of the College Football Playoff, but the Vols do have a couple of good things going for them so far. One of those is the interception by Vols cornerback Will Brooks off of Ohio State quarterback Will Howard in the first half of Saturday night’s game.

And it was a wild one that came on a tip drill that you have to see to believe. Here is a look at the play:

As of the last seconds of the second quarter, Tennessee trailed Ohio State, 21-10. In that same time span, Brooks totaled 3 combined tackles, all of which were solo, to accompany the single interception. It is safe to say the Volunteers will have a lot of work do and have to find at least some way to build off of Brooks’ efforts if they want to have any hope of continuing on in the CFP.

The defense will obviously have to step up a bit more after allowing 3 touchdowns in the first half, all of which came out of the gate in the first quarter. But complementary football will also be essential as quarterback Nico Iamaleava and company have not been able to get things going in a rhythm so far in this one on a consistent basis, though they were able to close out the final seconds of the half with a 2-yard scoring carry from Iamaleava.
