Report: Tennessee defensive lineman suspended for Music City Bowl

Tennessee’s defensive line will be without a junior backup on Friday afternoon in the Music City Bowl.

Dimarya Mixon was suspended for the game against Nebraska and has been sent home early, according to WBIR Sports:

Mixon played in all 12 games for the Volunteers this season, but didn’t start any of them. In limited action, he recorded eight tackles, one sack and 2.5 tackles for a loss.

The Volunteers are getting set to take on the Cornhuskers on Friday afternoon. The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on ESPN.
