Tennessee fans gleefully react to the report that Butch Jones has been fired
On Sunday morning, following a 50-17 loss to Mizzou, Tennessee coach Butch Jones was reportedly, at long last, fired by the Volunteers.
Naturally, Vol Nation was thrilled, as fans had been waiting for the news for a very long time. With every passing week that Jones wasn’t fired, fans were getting more restless.
However, Sunday marked the end of the nightmare for many fans in Knoxville, and the celebration started shortly thereafter.

I initially thought Butch could get it done. He recruited really well at first and was bringing in talent, but somewhere along the way things didn't get better. Player development wasn't very good and game management was terrible.
