Tennessee freshman Christian Moore goes yard with 2-run HR for first hit

Christian Moore’s first career hit as a Tennessee Volunteer left the ballpark. The former Perfect Game top-100 prospect launched a 2-run homer for his first hit at UT.
Moore’s homer extended Tennessee’s lead over UNC Asheville to 5-0 in the 2nd inning, making it a 4-run frame.

The Vols started the 2022 campaign 3-0 with a weekend sweep of Georgia Southern. UT is on the way to making it 4-0, with an 11-0 lead over UNCA in the bottom of the 4th inning. The ball has been flying out of Lindsay Nelson Stadium on Wednesday. Tennessee has hit 4 home runs, including Moore’s 2-run shot.
