Tennessee game features hilarious mishap with Bowling Green player’s facemask

Every now and then, there will be a situation in a football game where a player has his helmet’s facemask caught in another player’s facemask.
Well, there was an even more bizarre situation in the Tennessee-Bowling Green game on Thursday night.
As you can see below, a Bowling Green defender made a tackle, but then couldn’t get up. Why? His facemask was caught in part of Tennessee RB Jabari Small’s uniform:

It took them a lot longer to untangle than that GIF does justice, but eventually, everything was indeed sorted out.
It might be years before we see something like that happen again in the college football ranks.
