The Tennessee Volunteers’ 2018 recruiting class took a big hit after Butch Jones was fired and the coaching search took forever.

Now that Jeremy Pruitt is the coach, though, the Vols have managed to land some big-time athletes to replenish the class.

On Monday afternoon, 3-star CB Brandon Davis — a Louisiana native — announced he was committing to Tennessee, as you can see in the tweet below:

According to the 247Sports composite, Davis is the No. 157 corner in the class of 2018 and the No. 72 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.

The Vols now have 19 players in their 2018 class — 14 signed and five committed. Per 247Sports, the class is No. 6 in the SEC and No. 19 nationally, and there’s still plenty of time left before National Signing Day next week to add to that.
