Josh Heupel was hired at Tennessee just a week ago, but the new head coach has managed to land a signee for UT’s 2021 recruiting class.
The Volunteers got a surprise addition on Wednesday when JUCO offensive lineman Jeremiah Crawford inked with UT. Out of Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas, Crawford was uncommitted heading into National Signing Day. He had not even revealed Tennessee’s scholarship offer before signing with the Vols.
Crawford is listed at 6-6, 315 pounds. The 247Sports Composite rates Crawford as the No. 40 JUCO prospect in the class. He collected 18 other scholarship offers, including Ole Miss and UCF.
