The second-half finish is the biggest selling point for Tennessee football these days in recruiting, and the Vols are hoping that message resonates leading up to the Early Signing Period on Wednesday.

LB Henry To’o To’o explained it in his own words earlier this week, with video from Tennessee’s Twitter account.

“My message for guys that’s kind of on the edge and off the edge, the progress we made,” To’o To’o said. “Everybody’s seen the progress ever since Coach Pruitt’s gotten here. It’s a process. Nothing is built in just one day, nothing is built within a week, it’s a process. For guys that’s going to commit on Wednesday, trust in the process. Things are going to happen the way it’s going to happen. That was a big thing for me is trust. You don’t want to go in and not trust the person you’re playing for, and I trusted this entire coaching staff. I love these guys to death.”

After an 0-2 and then 1-4 start, the Vols closed with five straight wins, including four in the SEC. Jeremy Pruitt’s club is set to play Indiana in the Gator Bowl. That gives the Vols extra time to develop younger players and a selling point to recruits that you, too, could join in on the postseason fun in the coming years.
