The Tennessee Volunteers are a baseball program on the rise under coach Tony Vitello. In 2019, the Vols went 40-21 and made the NCAA Tournament, and LHP Garrett Crochet was a big part of that success.

On Wednesday night, Crochet was a first-round MLB Draft pick, as the Chicago White Sox selected him with the No. 11 overall pick.

In his final full season of college baseball (2019), Crochet went 5-3 with a 4.02 ERA in 65.0 innings pitched. He struck out 81 while walking only 22 batters.
