The Tennessee Volunteers took a hit to their 2020 recruiting class on Saturday, losing the only running back they had in the class so far.

The player in question is 3-star RB Ebony Jackson out of Marietta, Georgia, who has now re-opened his recruitment.

As you can see below, Jackson announced via Twitter that he was decommitting from the Tennessee program on Saturday evening:

Per the 247Sports composite, Jackson is the No. 36 running back in the class of 2020 and the No. 49 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

The Vols are now down to six players in their 2020 class. Prior to Jackson’s decommitment, the class ranked No. 24 in the country and No. 8 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
