Once again, Tennessee will be among the schools teaming up with Curing Kids Cancer to promote National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September.

The Vols are one of six teams that will participate on Saturday, and they’re doing it for the fifth straight year. Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt will wear a lanyard with a gold whistle for the second straight year as his team takes on BYU at Neyland Stadium.

Along with Tennessee, Alabama, Duke, Georgia, South Carolina and Vanderbilt are also participating.

The Vols have also partnered with East Tennessee Children’s Hospital to provide a VIP gameday experience for children battling severe illnesses. Through the Beads of Courage and Special Spectators program, the children will receive a police escort from the hospital to a special tailgate in Tennessee Park ahead of the game against the Cougars.

The children will also have a pregame sideline experience that will allow them to meet the Tennessee Spirit Squad and watch the Vols during warmups. They’ll then receive complimentary tickets to watch the game with their families.

It’ll be a memorable Saturday for these children and their families as they’ll get VIP treatment throughout the day.

Tennessee and BYU are set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday on ESPN.
