Tennessee picks up commitment from in-state ATH
Tennessee didn’t have to go outside the Volunteer State for its latest commitment.
Brownsville, Tennessee ATH Darion Williamson announced Wednesday night (via Twitter) that he has pledged to Jeremy Pruitt’s squad. The Haywood High School player appears to be under-the-radar as a recruit, with scholarship offers from only UT and Memphis showing on his 247Sports recruiting profile. The site’s Composite rankings have him at 3-stars, rating him the No. 65 ATH, No. 32 Tennessee product and No. 872 prospect overall nationally in the 2020 class. He is commitment No. 12 in Tennessee’s 2020 class.
