Tennessee radio host rips Vols on Twitter after loss: 'I'm not sure Jeremy Pruitt or the players truly care'
Chad Withrow is a radio host for 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, where he talks about Tennessee sports.
On Saturday, after the Vols lost 38-30 to the Georgia State Panthers, Withrow was among the many Vol fans who were upset about everything.
As you can see in the series of tweets below, Withrow questioned whether this year’s Vols actually cared about winning at all:
Phillip Fulmer cares about Tennessee Football. I’m not sure Jeremy Pruitt or the players truly care after today. They have 11 games to prove me wrong.

To me, it’s pretty definitive. This is the lowest point in the modern history of Tennessee Football.

Congrats to everyone on here that hates Vol fans everywhere. I think 60% of the fanbase died today. Complete apathy and lifelessness and who can blame them?

So, does he think Pruitt will be fired after the season? Not exactly:
Here’s my question: Let’s say Tennessee goes 3-9 this year. Do you think Fulmer is really going to fire the guy he hired after Year 2??? I don’t think there is anything that could happen for Pruitt to lose his job this year unless it’s off field.

So that’s basically the state of the Tennessee program this Sunday morning. It’s a rough time to be a Vol fan, as this was a game many were penciling in as a win.
