Tennessee is feeling icy for its Week 4 road trip.

The Volunteers revealed Thursday morning that they will be going with the “Storm Trooper” look of white helmets, white jerseys and white pants for Saturday’s showdown at Oklahoma.

The UT-OU clash is in the national spotlight for a number of reasons. For Oklahoma, it’s the Sooners’ first SEC game. It’s also the first meeting of top-15 SEC teams this season. It’s the College GameDay showcase game. And you might have noticed there’s a lot of talk about Josh Heupel.

Oklahoma enters Saturday ranked No. 15 in the country. The Sooners are off to a 3-0 star in nonconference play. Brent Venables’ squad opened the season with a 51-3 thumping of Temple before escaping with a 16-12 win over Houston in Week 2. OU improved to 3-0 by defeating Tulane 34-19.

No. 6 Tennessee is also off to a 3-0 start. Saturday is also UT’s first conference clash of the year. The Vols, though, have notably already played a Power 4 opponent. Heupel’s team traveled to Charlotte for the Duke’s Mayo Classic in Week 2, defeating a ranked NC State team in a 51-10 blowout.

The return of Heupel, an Oklahoma great and national champion who later spent 10 seasons on Bob Stoops’ staff before being let go (2004, 2006-14), has been one of the leading storylines of game week. Venables, a long-time Oklahoma assistant who is now the Sooners’ head coach, has shared some wonderful Heupel stories.

Come 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, however, the game will be all about the players taking the field.
