Wide receiver Andison Coby became the third Tennessee player to enter the transfer portal since the end of the season, as GoVols247 reported the news on Wednesday.

Coby, a junior college transfer originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida who arrived in Knoxville about a year ago, played in 5 games during the 2021 season, and his only catch went for 5 yards against Tennessee Tech in September.

Coby actually joined the Vols amid the coaching transition from Jeremy Pruitt to Josh Heupel, when interim coach Kevin Steele and some holdover assistants, including wide receivers coach Tee Martin, were overseeing the program, the report noted.

Coby followed long snapper Will Albright and running back Dee Beckwith both entered last week. Defensive end Tyler Baron did as well, but withdrew his name about a day later.
