Tennessee continues to flex its muscle on offense. For the fourth-straight game, the Vols have scored at least 45 points, tying a record from 1993.

The 2022 team put up 59 points before the final whistle against Ball State in the season opener.

The impressive scoring performance dates back to Nov. 20th when Tennessee defeated the South Alabama Jaguars 60-14. In the following game, Tennessee defeated Vanderbilt at home 45-21. Finally, Tennessee scored 45 points in the 48-45 overtime loss to Purdue in the 2021 Music City Bowl.

Tennessee finished last season ranked 7th in the nation in points per game (39.3), second in the SEC behind the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Vols should have similar productivity on the offensive side of the ball with 8 returning starters from last season.

Tennessee currently leads Ball State 59-7 late in the fourth quarter.
