Tennessee transfer QB now set for return to Vols after just two weeks

It was just two weeks ago that Tennessee redshirt freshman quarterback Sheriron Jones decided to transfer. He had his destination picked out and everything.

Now, Jones has been released from his scholarship at Colorado and seems poised to return to Tennessee.

Buffaloes head coach Mike MacIntyre made the announcement on Friday, saying that he and Jones came to the conclusion that a return to Knoxville would be in the quarterback’s best interest.
