Tennessee looks to have the perfect opponent ahead of it on Saturday as it hopes to shake off a loss to Pittsburgh on Sept. 11. FCS Tennessee Tech makes the 100-mile drive from Cookeville to Knoxville to take on the Volunteers at Rocky Top.

The Vols beat Bowling Green on Sept. 2 to open the Josh Heupel era with a win but fell to the Panthers in the Johnny Majors Classic. They’ll try to get back in the win column in their 3rd straight home game before traveling to Florida on Sept. 25.

After wearing both orange jerseys and pants in their last game, the Volunteers keep the orange jerseys for Saturday’s contest against the Golden Eagles. The helmets are white and feature the trademark Block T with orange striping. The Vols are also set to wear white gloves and white pants with orange trim, as well as white cleats.

The Volunteers and Golden Eagles kick off at noon ET from Neyland Stadium. There is no linear television broadcast; rather, the game will be streaming on ESPN+.
