Oops: FOX Sports graphic ranks Tennessee the No. 1 team in the nation
Tennessee has one of the longest active win streaks of the nation and is 9-2 in its last 11 games under Jeremy Pruitt.
The Vols are improving as they fight their way back to SEC relevance, but this FOX Sports graphic may have given them a little too much credit.
Tennessee was ranked No. 21 in the AP Poll going into Saturday’s matchups, but a slight typo altered their status to No. 1 in the country for the moment.

The graphic comically made the mistake of putting Tennessee at the No. 1 spot in college football, a place occupied by Clemson in the current AP Poll.
The Vols went on to rout Missouri 35-12 at home, and looked good doing it. Tennessee is 2-0 this season, and gearing up for a huge road matchup at Georgia next Saturday. The Vols may be on their way to contending for the SEC East this season, but they may need another season or two before a No. 1 ranking is any sort of possibility.
