The Tennessee Volunteers (2-3) will host in-state opponent Chattanooga (3-2) on Saturday at Neyland Stadium. The Vols look to bounce back from a three-game losing skid with a big win against a Football Championship Subdivision opponent. Chattanooga ranks as the No. 12 team in the FCS.

Tennessee holds a 36-2-2 record against Chattanooga in 40 total meetings. The two teams last met in 1969, when the Vols won 31-0. The Mocs’ last win came in 1958.

Tennessee is a 26-point favorite entering Saturday’s game. The Vols have a strong advantage in talent and should see a dominant performance against an inferior opponent at home.

Prediction: Tennessee: 42, Chattanooga- 0

Coming off a 10-9 loss, Tennessee’s offense looks to show that it is far from incapable of scoring. The Vols scored zero touchdowns and failed to capitalize on offensive possessions. Tennessee may be without leading rusher Jalen Hurd, but should have enough of a talent disparity to dominate Chattanooga. Even the Vols struggling offensive line should be capable of outplaying the Mocs on Saturday.

Week 7 provides the perfect opportunity for Tennessee’s offense to find its groove and see success.

Player of the Game: Justin Worley

Justin Worley is coming off his worst performance of the season. The senior quarterback had three turnovers, including two interceptions and a fumble. Worley is one touchdown and 49 yards shy of tying his 2013 season totals. Facing an FCS defense, Worley could easily surpass both totals on the opening drive.
