Tennessee redshirt sophomore wideout Drae Bowles, a former four-star signee out of Jackson, Tenn., has transferred to UT-Chattanooga according to Stephen Hargis of the Times Free Press.

The 2011 U.S. Army All-American played in two games this season for the Vols, but didn’t have a catch. He leaves Knoxville with two career tackles, both coming on special teams.

Bowles will be eligible to play immediately and has two years remaining. He is one of three FBS transfers heading to Chattanooga this season.

Five-star Preston Williams from Hampton, Ga., is the only wide receiver committed to Tennessee in the 2015 class. Tennessee will return all five of its leading receivers next fall if junior speedster Pig Howard (54 catches, 618 yards, TD) doesn’t declare for the draft.
