Tennessee's Twitter account returns with 'back to work' message which leads to predictable outrage
If you missed it, Tennessee’s Twitter account went completely dark on Saturday after Georgia State took the lead late against the Volunteers. The account, which is typically very active on game days and following Tennessee football games, apparently didn’t have the heart to keep churning out content following Tennessee’s 38-30 loss to Georgia State.
Well, the good news is the hiatus is over. The bad news? The account could not have picked a worse message to relay in its return.
The account’s first tweet following the embarrassing loss to Georgia State? An update on the team’s Week 2 game against BYU along with the words “Back to work.”
Hard to go back to work when you never really even started in the first place.
Back to work.

It’s week 2 and y’all have already lost the fan base. Just shut the damn thing down and we can try again in 5-10 years and actually find coaches and players that a give shit.
