Tim Tebow and the rest of the SEC Network crew are in Knoxville today for the Tennessee-Texas A&M game.

The crew was joined by Tennessee legend Eric Berry. Berry is back in Knoxville this weekend as he is honored by being inducted into the 2023 College Football Hall of Fame.

Tebow was Florida’s QB when Berry was starring for the Vols, and the former QB reflected on his memories of the matchups.

While Berry never beat Tebow, Tebow admitted that he took a lot of hard hits from Berry. “I remember about half of them (the hits), I don’t remember the rest of them,” joked Tebow.

“In my opinion, [Eric Berry is] one of the best players to ever play in the SEC.”

Tebow was extremely complimentary of Berry, both as a player and person.

“He (Berry) represents y’all’s team and y’all’s state so well,” declared Tebow.

Berry had a productive 3-year career in Knoxville. The defensive back collected 245 tackles, 14 interceptions, 17.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks. Now, Berry will be one of the inductees of the 2023 College Football Hall of Fame.
