Tennessee baseball has had more drama than a season of Real Housewives.

But now, according to Trey Lipscomb, cameras are going to follow. The outstanding third baseman tweeted on Friday that a documentary was already in process.

For Vols baseball fans, a documentary will cap off a stellar year. Tennessee picked up 25 SEC wins on the way to a conference championship. The Volunteers went 57-9, which earned them the best regular season in recent history title. Although they were eliminated in the Super Regional, the 2022 season was full of highlights for the Volunteers.

The season was also full of drama. Blade Tidwell missed most of the season with a shoulder injury, while Chase Dollander needed to recoup after being hit with a line drive. Add in the ejection of coaches Frank Anderson and Tony Vitello, and the false accusation by ESPN that Evan Russell tested positive for PED’s, and it was a tumultuous season. The baseball drama should play out terrifically on the small screen stage.
