Make that two commitments for the Volunteers under Josh Heupel as Florida pass rusher Venson Sneed has announced his commitment to Tennessee on Thursday morning.

Sneed’s commitment to Tennessee comes just one day after Murfreesboro linebacker Elijah Herring became the first prospect to commit to Heupel’s Volunteer program.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Sneed is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 39 strongside defensive end and a top 600 prospect nationally in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. Sneed picked Tennessee over scholarship offers from Kentucky, Indiana, UCF and USF, among others.
