Video: Tennessee’s Evan Berry ties SEC kick return TD record with 100-yard return
The Vols may have just woken up in Columbia.
Down 10 points on the road against South Carolina and badly in need of a spark, Tennessee got one from junior safety Evan Berry late in the third quarter with this 100-yard kick return.
Not only was the return huge for the Vols’ chances Saturday night, it helped Berry tie the SEC record for career kick return touchdown with four. Berry is now tied with the following players: Willie Gault, Felix Jones, Brandon Boykin, Andre Debose and Marcus Murphy.
Saturday night’s 100-yard return helps Berry tie his career long return, which he originally recorded last season against Kentucky.
