Video: Virginia Tech unveils new uniforms for Battle at Bristol against Tennessee
Carnival-like pageantry is firmly embedded within the fabric of college football.
Not only do the crowds resemble that of a sea of colors, but the uniforms each team wears has (in recent years) become a very big talking point. Oregon is famous for this — unveiling virtually a new uniform combination for every single game.

Other programs have attempted to copy this premise (although with a bit less frequency). For those teams featuring on national television, it provides the stage for showcasing some fascinating and unique uniforms.
Virginia Tech is taking this to heart — as it unveiled a special alternate uniform for its ‘Battle of Bristol’ game against Tennessee.
The game will be taking place at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sep. 10. A crowd of over 150,000 fans are slated to be in attendance — which would be the biggest crowd for a college football game in history.
Currently on an unofficial visit to Blacksburg, 247sports 4-star recruit Devon Hunter tweeted a short video of himself wearing the alternate uniform.

Suffice it to say, but those in Hokie Nation have to be excited at the look of these new threads.
The fans will be so far from the field that they could play in tu-tu.s and nobody would know it.
Tickets are overpriced and my sofa way more comfy, with a better view.
Will UT wear Traditional O&W? I am not a smokey gray fan.
I’m with you… not a fan of that- need to stick with the traditional orange and white!
Missouri seating capacity is 71,000…get off our nuts and get on our level
Not as bad as many think…the game will be a sight to see…the Collossus video board will also help in that regard with each screen being 63 ft long…and it will shatter football attendance records
Wolfman must have never been to bristol. Views aren’t that bad. And I think it’s pretty appropriate that they have tire print on their jerseys, considering what Tennessee is gonna do to them.
Nice uniforms, hope ut wears the orange to go with it.
UT is wearing traditional white helmet, orange jersey and white pants.
