One of the most interesting parts of the modern pre-draft experience is watching the QBs of the future going through the gauntlet of Gruden’s QB camp. The show, now in its eighth season on ESPN, shows former NFL head coach Jon Gruden testing draftees as well as giving them tips, all with the goal of making them a bit more prepared for the rigors of an NFL offense.
On Sunday, Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs was given the full workup, and he represented himself as well as his university with class. Dobbs began the show by saying that he did research into Gruden and his charity, then handed him an envelope with a donation inside.
The duo would then go on to cover multiple hot button issues for Dobbs, including his future career in aeronautics, his spread tendencies from college, and the intangibles that make him and intriguing prospect.
