Vol reunion: Peyton Manning, joined by Todd Helton, throws out first pitch of MLB All-Star Game
Peyton Manning won a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos. Todd Helton was one of the best players in the history of the Colorado Rockies.
But, before they became professional sports stars, they were both Tennessee quarterbacks. Manning took over the starting job from Helton in 1994, as a matter of fact.
On Tuesday, both legends were in Denver for the MLB All-Star Game. As you can see below, Helton accompanied Manning on the field where Manning threw out a ceremonial first pitch:

Manning’s pitch hit the dirt (and was a bit outside), but it had some nice speed on it for a first pitch.
We wonder how much they discussed Josh Heupel and the Tennessee football prospects in 2021 before this special moment.
