The last 24 hours have been a whirlwind for new Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt.

Pruitt held his introductory press conference Thursday night, and he revealed that he’ll coach Alabama in the College Football Playoff while continuing to recruit at Tennessee until the dead period. The other important things of note he said can be found right here.

Pruitt comes from a strong coaching pedigree. Having coached under Nick Saban, Mark Richt and Jimbo Fisher, he’s ready for the job, and certainly, Tennessee is hoping he can rebuild the program quickly.
