Former Tennessee DB Manny Moseley didn’t hear his name called during the 2018 NFL Draft, but he was quickly scooped up by the San Francisco 49ers on a free-agent deal.

Now, he’s trying to make the 53-man roster, and a huge play on Saturday against the Houston Texans will go a long way toward helping him reach that goal.

Sports betting in Tennessee officially launched on November 1, 2020, and many of the largest sportsbooks are live and operating in the volunteer state. Tennessee is only one of a handful of SEC football states with legalized sports betting.

As you can see in the video below, Moseley made a diving interception on a tipped pass, then had the awareness to get up and turn the interception into a long return:

There was a penalty on the return, though, so the Niners were backed up a bit and didn’t end up turning the interception into points.

Still, it was a great play by Moseley, and one that will go a long way toward helping him keep a job throughout the 2018 season.
