Tennessee’s upset win on the road at Auburn had a feeling about it. To many Tennessee fans, the big win had to feel like the start of something big on Rocky Top.
The Vols obviously aren’t going to compete for the SEC East title this season and will have to continue to improve if a bowl game is even going to happen for Jeremy Pruitt’s first team on Rocky Top but the program now has tangible evidence to fans, current players and recruits that Tennessee is headed in the right direction and that this coaching staff knows how to win games on the road in the nation’s toughest conference.
To celebrate Pruitt’s first conference win as Tennessee head coach, the team’s official Twitter account released a look back at the 30-24 win for the Vols from last Saturday.
