TCU’s College Football Playoff status is one of the hottest topics in the CFB world after the Horned Frogs lost to Kansas State 31-28 in overtime of the Big 12 Championship Game.

TCU was ranked No. 3 heading into Week 14. As a 1-loss team without a conference title, the Horned Frogs’ status as one of the 4 Playoff team is not certain heading into Selection Sunday. Sonny Dykes said it would be punishing TCU for playing an extra game to move the Horned Frogs out of the top 4.

Dykes touted TCU’s 12-0 regular-season record in his postgame comments.

Many college football fans and members of the national media seem to be on the side of TCU maintaining a Playoff spot over No. 6 Alabama moving into the top 4. We’ll find out the Playoff field on Sunday.
