Matthew McConaughey is a busy man. When No. 1 Alabama comes to Austin, Texas, the Oscar-winning actor makes time to narrate the hype video. McConaughey is an appropriate choice to narrate a preview to Saturday’s big game as arguably the most prominent supporter of Texas football.

The theme of the McConaughey-narrated clip is “opportunity awaits” for the Longhorns. The 88-second video shows Steve Sarkisian’s squad putting in work this offseason. McConaughey predicts 100-degree heat (Weather.com’s forecast says otherwise, but it’s a hype video, after all) and 100,000 screaming Longhorns fans in DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. According to McConaughey, Texas says “Bring the heat!”

As McConaughey notes, facing the top-ranked Crimson Tide is a big opportunity for the Longhorns to make a statement. Alabama is favored by over 20 points at most sportsbooks, but as Nick Saban reminded UA fans, things didn’t go so well the last time the Tide was a big favorite in the Lone Star State.

The game is getting FOX’s Big Noon Saturday treatment, a noon ET kickoff. Everything is truly bigger in Texas, so ESPN is bringing the College GameDay crew along as well.

We’ll see if McConaughey is saying “alright, alright, alright” when the clock hits 0:00.
