Silas Bolden, one of the most sought-after wide receivers in the transfer portal, has committed to play in the new-look SEC.
Bolden was Oregon State’s leading receiver in 2023, and is listed at 5-foot-8 from Rancho Cucamonga, California. He spent 4 seasons in Corvallis and made 80 receptions, including 54 this past season for 746 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Bolden also produced 2 rushing touchdowns and was a dynamic weapon as a return man. He averaged 23 yards per kickoff return and scored a touchdown as a punt returner. Bolden was an all-Pac-12 selection each of the last 2 seasons.
Bolden is the latest addition to Texas after 2 notable wide receivers joined Steve Sarkisian’s program in Alabama’s Isaiah Bond and former Houston standout Matthew Golden. The high school class also includes 5-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo and 4-stars Aaron Butler, Freddie Dubose, and Parker Livingstone.
