Texas landed a big-time commitment for its 2024 recruiting class on Wednesday. Blue-chip edge defender Zina Umeozulu has verbally pledged to play for the Longhorns.

Umeozulu picked up scholarship offers from 30 programs during his recruitment. He narrowed things down to Texas, Oklahoma and Texas A&M for his big decision, choosing Steve Sarkisian’s program.
