Until Sunday, he hadn’t missed a game in his college or NFL careers. However, when his Philadelphia Eagles take on the Cincinnati Bengals this afternoon, Matthews will be inactive for the first time:

Matthews has recorded 57 catches for 686 yards and three touchdowns for the Eagles this season. He’ll miss today’s game with an ankle injury.
Matthews still holds the Vanderbilt career records for receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
