The Vanderbilt Commodores picked up their 12th commitment for the class of 2021 Wednesday evening.

Kennesaw, Georgia, native James Ziglor III committed to Vandy over Pittsburgh and others. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound athlete plays both wide receiver and defensive back, and he’s currently not rated by 247Sports.

He’s projected to play defensive back in college, but he’s versatile enough to play on either side of the ball.

“I want to thank God for all of my blessings and my family and loved ones for their support,” Ziglor wrote on Twitter. “To my coaches and trainers thank you for pushing me to be the best student athlete that I can be. To my teammates throughout the years, thank you for your brotherhood. I want to lastly thank every school that recruited me.

“After a long discussion with my family, I am truly honored to say I will be continuing my academic and football career at Vanderbilt University! #AnchorDown.”
