March Sadness: Former Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings fired by Pitt after only two seasons

Well, that didn’t take very long.

According to multiple reports, Pitt has decided to fire Kevin Stallings after only two seasons on the job. This despite signing the coach to a six-year deal two years ago. During his brief tenure with the Panthers, the former Vanderbilt coach derailed a once-proud basketball program and turned it into a national laughingstock.

Pitt went 8-24 this season with an 0-18 ACC record. The Panthers ended the season on a 19-game losing streak.
