Unfortunately, it sounds as if former Vanderbilt lineman Dayo Odeyingbo may have significantly hurt his stock leading up to the 2021 NFL Draft as the former Commodore standout has reportedly suffered a torn Achilles.

This news comes from Dane Brugler of The Athletic.

Following the 2020 season, Odeyingbo was as a Second Team All-SEC selection after making eight starts for the Commodores. Odeyingbo opted out of Vanderbilt’s season finale against Tennessee.

Odeyingbo was set to become the highest-selected Commodore in the 2021 NFL Draft, and while that’s still a possibility, this injury is likely to set him back during the NFL’s upcoming selection process.

The lineman finished his Vanderbilt career with 122 tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks and an interception.
