Vanderbilt’s basketball program entered the offseason with some uncertainty regarding the team’s best players and now we have some clarity on those players’ status looking ahead to the 2020 season.

After sophomore forward Aaron Nesmith announced he planned to leave school for the NBA, junior guard Saben Lee has made the same decision.

Nesmith averaged 23 points per game, 4.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game for the Commodores last season while Lee averaged 18.6 points and 4.2 assists per game for Vanderbilt.

Lee did not indicate whether he plans on hiring an agent, which would leave the door open for a possible return to school for his senior season.
