“It is truly an honor to be given the opportunity to play college football in the SEC,” Young wrote on Twitter.
Young, a product of Bentonville West High School (Centerton, Arkansas), is the 16th member of Vanderbilt’s 2019 recruiting class. At 6-foot-5, 215 pounds, Young stacks up as the 11th-best player from Arkansas and 110th-best outside linebacker in the class, according to 247Sports.com’s composite ratings.
