Vanderbilt is still basking in the glow of the program’s first-ever win over a No. 1 team with Saturday’s upset of Alabama. Now, Commodore fans can own a unique piece of the history.

Late Sunday evening, Vanderbilt announced the program was offering up game-used memorabilia items in a game auction. These items ranged from game-used footballs and pylons to personalized helmets and even sections of the goal post uprights and crossbar.

According to the announcement, the auction will run through Thursday, Oct. 10 at 5 pm CT.

According to the auction website, a 4-inch piece of the goal post upright was selling for $1,005. Meanwhile, an 8-inch portion of the crossbar was $4,035.

The helmets are currently the priciest item with a bid north of $7,000. Fans can also checkout game-used pylons and footballs via the auction.

The goal posts were of particular interest after the upset. Vanderbilt fans tore down the goal posts and ushered them out of the stadium and down Broadway before tossing them into the Cumberland River.

However, it was reported late Saturday night that the goal posts were recovered from the river by the Nashville Fire Department and returned to Vanderbilt. Now we know where at least those pieces are headed!
