Vanderbilt and Colorado State announced a four-game, home-and-home series Thursday morning that will take place between 2020 and 2026.

The first game between the two will take place in Nashville on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020 with the Commodores making the return trip Sept. 11, 2021 to Fort Collins. The final two games in the series are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 in Nashville and Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 in Fort Collins.

“We have high goals and aspirations for our program, to provide our students with the experience of playing against the best possible competition during their time as a Ram,” said Colorado State head coach Mike Bobo via the school’s website. “At home and away, our team and our fans can anticipate an aggressive approach to scheduling future opponents.”

Judging by the Rams’ future schedule, Bobo must miss his old days in the SEC as offensive coordinator at Georgia, as Colorado State has booked trips to Alabama in 2017, Florida in 2018, Arkansas in 2019 and now two trips to Vanderbilt.

Should Colorado State upset any of the SEC schools on the road prior to the Vanderbilt series, Bobo may not be around to coach the Rams against the Commodores – he could be working in the SEC as a head coach by that time.
